A superb early Wedgwood light blue and white Jasperware circular cheese dish and cover, the dome cover decorated with a continuous neoclassical scene and earlier handle rather than finial with matching dish which has impressed Wedgwood stamps to base (Circa. 1900).
Dome approximately 9cm high/11cm incl handle x 18cm diameter, dish is 24cm wide, overall 14cm tall.
Condition : in excellent clean condition with no no staining to base or underside of lid, no damage, cracks or chips or restoration, some minor firing cracks to white porcelain at base of handle (common fault but this case is very minor). – see photos.
