J Eveleigh & Co. Sample Travel Trunk

J Eveleigh & Co. Sample Travel Trunk – Montreal circa1880 – Brass front and interior paper label states Genuine Raw Hide and Steel lined – appears to be a wooden carcass, leather and wood bound with studs bothr,  steel corner brackets and hardware, lock (missing key) with leather carry handle to each side, hinged lid with wool ? fabric lined interior, great colour and a the right height to use as furniture.

G F J initials to sides and E H H / to front part faded

Approximately 17″ deep, 22″ wide and 29″ tall

Condition : some wear and marks conducive with age which adds to the character, inside shows signs of use and may need further cleaning depending on future use
